Roofing Foreman

Main Duties
• Repair, maintain, and remove and replace shingled roofs
• Provide leadership and direction for roofing crew
• Organize project resources; including equipment, materials, and labor
• Identify and address any safety concerns and assure that all members of the crew are following proper safety procedures
• Work closely with Project Manager to develop strategies to achieve daily goals of completion so that the job is completed within the timeline provided
• Oversee all site protection and job set-up and preparation
• Track all workers hours and attendance and report to office staff, daily
• Responsible for ensuring quality workmanship and ensuring that Remember Me Roofing standards are met for each job
• Final Inspection of all roof replacements and site clean up
• Provide customer service and maintain communication with home owners

Employment Requirements:
• Must have 3-5 years of experience in sloped roofing
• Must be able to work on all roof pitches
• Must have valid drivers license, minimum class G2
• Must have valid Working at Heights certification, training can be provided if necessary
• Must be experienced in installing wall flashing, skylights, sun tunnels, chimney flashing and all special things related to shingle roofs
• Must feel confident in managing a 5-6 person crew
• Access to cellphone to communicate with Project Manager and for sending photos. Cellphone allowance provided

Roofers/ Shinglers/ Installers

Main Duties
• Remove and replace residential roofs
• Install, repair or replace plywood when necessary
• Inspect roofs for leaks, determine and implement best repair procedures
• Install, repair or replace skylights
• Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs
• Install or replace metal flashing (Senior)
• Install vapour barriers, and venting systems
• Use of power tools
• Maintain a safe work environment for the crew, and adhere to all safety training policies

Employment Requirements:
• Junior shinglers must have a minimum of 1 year installing experience in sloped roofing
• Senior shinglers must have a minimum of 3 years installing experience in sloped roofing
• Must be able to work on all roof pitches
• Must be able to work outdoors for long periods of time in a physically demanding position
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Driver’s License an asset
• Will be required to complete company specific safety training
• Must have valid Working at Heights safety certification, training can be provided
• Must have steel toe shoe/boots
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Must be able to work well with others, in a team setting

Roofing Repairman

Main Duties:

• Repair, maintain, and remove and replace roofs
• Install, repair or replace plywood when necessary 
• Install, repair or replace skylights
• Install or replace sheet metal flashing
• Install vapour barriers, and venting systems
• Use of power tools
• Complete chimney, soffit and fascia repairs
• Inspect roofs and roof accessories for leaks, determine and implement best repair procedures

Employment Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in sloped roofing
• Must be able to work on all roof pitches
• Must be able to work outdoors for long periods of hours, in a physically demanding position
• G2 Driver’s License with a clean driving record is an asset, but not required
• Must have valid Working at Heights safety certification, training can be provided
• Must have steel toe shoe/boots 
• Must be punctual and reliable and able to work well with others, in a team setting

Some winter work is available for those wanting to start immediately.

Siding, Soffit/Fascia Installer

Main Duties
• Removal of old siding, soffit, fascia, and eavestroughs
• Install house wrap or other material to building surface, using staples, nails or adhesives
• Install new or repair siding, soffit, fascia, and eavestroughs
• Maintain clean, safe and hazard free work environment

Employment Requirements:
A successful applicant is required to have the following experience and/or knowledge:

• Must have minimum 1 year of experience
• Working at Heights training required, training provided if needed
• Ability to work as a part of a small team
